2 . Increase the intensity of your workout 

Since your body is used to you working out 4 times a week, make it 5 times a week. Or if you usually workout 40 mins a day, make it an hour or more. You’re going to want to switch things up, to get your groove going again. So, include more reps, increase the intensity of each exercise, and your body will do needful. It’s not going to be easy per se, but you can do it, you’ve come a long, therefore a little increase here and there wouldn’t hurt. 

3 . Tweak your diet 

You can eat less calories and increase the calorie deficit you’re on. Make certain changes into your diet, and your body will come out of it. Therefore, you will get to resume your fat burn process and continue your weight loss journey. You can even start to eat something different, something that is still within your deficit. Doing this can help your body come out of the plateau quicker. It doesn’t have to be complicated foods, just simple foods that help you meet your nutritional requirements. 

4 . Gain weight

I know i know this goes against everything you’ve been working for. I know but hear me out, I’m not saying you should start eating without caution and go back to square one. I’ll explain again, this is happening because your body has hit stop mode and it doesn’t want you dropping any more pounds. 

So when you gain a few pounds it will let its guard down and you resume your routine.  And don’t worry about your body going into this mode again, once your body thinks you’re no longer shedding pounds, your metabolism will kick in again. What’s more, you might even shed those pounds quicker than you normally would. 

The body can be one little rascal, but you can play the game and WIN.
