Well, no.
Because some of us get really good at pretending. We look fine on the outside, but we’re falling apart in silence.
It’s called high-functioning depression. I’m not fine thank you. I don’t need to crash to be in pain.
“Therapy is for white people.”
Yes. This one is still alive in many places. Especially in cultures that think strength means silence. That think therapy is weakness. That think you can “discipline” your way out of anxiety.
We all deserve to unpack, unload, and breathe again. Therapy isn’t a luxury. It’s lifesaving. Please.
