The point is to build from where you are; eventually, you will reach the place you want to be.

Fit them in

Your fitness habits should fit into your daily routine.

When you’re at the office, use the stairs as much as possible instead of the elevator. Or have a quick exercise session at home before going to work or school.

They don’t have to be big, because small efforts become so much more over time.

Surround yourself with people who appreciate fitness

So, if you can’t find a fitness buddy, don’t let that keep you from doing what you gotta do. You’re doing this for yourself, so try your best. At some point, things will get easier, and you’ll thank yourself for pushing through.

Track your progress

Things like a fitness tracker, your phone, and a journal can help you track your progress. When you see how much improvement you’ve made over time, it’ll make you happy and motivate you to keep going.

Keep things spicy

At some point, you can try new things like joining a fitness class or trying new workouts.
