A healthy morning, and evening routine can help you feel good about yourself.

  • Including your life.

It’s going to give you this feeling of relief and satisfaction, that you started the day well, and ended it even better.

However, routines can be different for everyone.

Things like:

  • Your environment
  • Type of house you live in
  • How you were brought up (like your culture)
  • Financial capability
  • Type of family you have
  • Your lifestyle
  • What you do for a living
  • And even the country you’re from

Can affect the type of morning, and evening routine you can have.

For some people, they don’t have the time or leisure for:

  • Sheet masks in the morning
  • Calmly brushing their hair
  • Applying lip masks
  • Making a nice coffee in the morning
  • Or doing some form of therapy

Their jobs, family, or other things can’t allow them to do these things.

And if you relate with this, know that it’s okay, and you can still have a healthy morning, and evening routine.

Some healthy habits apply for everyone, and you can do them too.

A Healthy morning routine you can follow

Get up early

Try be consistent with the time you wake up every morning, and wake up around the same every morning.

  • Even on weekends.

It can help improve the quality of your sleep, make it easier to wake up, and help you feel more awake.

Also, getting up earlier can give you the chance to do some things before you leave.

  • But, remember that it is OKAY to sleep in sometimes, life shouldn’t be that hard.

Hydrate

It’s also good to drink water in the morning, even if you have 2 minutes to spare.

  • Hydrating your body after sleeping, is good.

If you want, you could add a pinch of salt, or lemon to get some extra benefits.

  • And help the taste too.

Tip: Drink water after you’ve brushed, not right out of bed, the freshness of your mouth can help the water taste better.

  • And prevent you from feeling nauseous, after drinking.

A glass or cup of water is fine, just use whatever you normally use for drinking water at home.

Move your body

With just 5-10 minutes, you can stretch or do some exercise.

It could be:

  • 40 arm swings
  • 10 jump squats
  • 5 fire hydrants (each leg)
  • 10 sumo squats

Take a  20 to 30 seconds, after each exercise, and in 10 to 15 minutes you should be done.

To feel the burn and challenge your muscles more, add some weights

Moving your body after you wake up is part of a healthy morning routine.

It is going to

  • Equipments
  • Special outfits

You just need:

  • A little bit of time
  • Some space
  • Comfortable clothes
  • Something in the house to carry

And you’re good to go.

Even if you have work to get to, a business to run, something to sell, whatever it is, you can make a little time to exercise.

Exercise has a ton of benefits, and nothing is cooler than taking care of your health, despite having a busy life.

Plan your day

Take some time go over your to-do list, and do the most important things first.

  • It’ll help organize your day and not feel overwhelmed.

Evening routine

Your evening routine, is as important as your morning routine.

For this part, it’s about taking the time to:

  • Chill
  • Prepare your body and mind
  • Get some sleep

No screen time

Put away your phone, tablets, laptops or other screens when it’s close to your bedtime.

  • Don’t use them, at least 30 minutes to an hour before you go to bed.

The blue light that comes out of these things can interfere with your sleep.

There are other ways you can chill and entertain yourself before you want to sleep.

Activities like:

  • Reading a book
  • Studying a little
  • Journaling
  • Listening to soothing songs
  • Taking a warm bath

Can help you relax and feel calm before bed.

Also, stretching your body before you sleep helps you feel better.

  • And can help your muscles feel less sore by the time you wake up.

Prepare for tomorrow

Lay out the clothes you’ll wear tomorrow.

Including your shoes, and socks. Also, pack your lunch, and prepare anything else you’ll need tomorrow.

  • This will save you time and reduce morning stress.

Imagine looking for your wrist watch, or hair clip, in the morning, when you could be using that time to exercise or do some meditation.

Go over your day.

Take a little time to think about how your day went.

  • What you did well
  • The things you missed
  • Mistakes you made
  • And what you’re looking forward to doing tomorrow

Reflection after a long day, can really help you see things better, and improve yourself.

 Go to bed

Prepare your room, so you can come to bed when it’s time. It can be dark, cool, and quiet, before you sleep.

  • Or you can prepare it be the way you like.
